Responsibilities
- Working on digital projects for, amongst others, federal government services (or other public services).
- Understanding complex processes and translating them into clear diagrams and visuals (e.g. process flows, user journeys).
- Facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders (business, IT, communications, target group representatives).
- Creating wireframes and detailed designs using a design system, whilst also actively contributing to design systems yourself.
- Preparing, conducting, and processing user research and testing.
- Communicating design decisions persuasively and documenting requirements meticulously.
- Collaborating smoothly with project managers, functional and business analysts, and developers.
Working context
- You join 2 other designers from our team at the client site.
- You work 2 days per week at the client's office in Brussels.
- The other days you decide if you prefer to work from home or in our offices in Ghent or Antwerp.
- You have a direct point of contact at the client who will also follow up with you personally.
Your profile

- You are empathetic and enjoy gaining a deep understanding of client and organisational needs.
- You can translate conceptual ideas into visual solutions through concept sketches, wireflows, storyboards, etc.
- You can think and act from the client's perspective.
- You have extensive digital design experience (as a UX and/or UI designer) and are proficient in Figma.
- You are familiar with service design techniques such as user research, customer journeys, co-creation facilitation, etc.
- You have a strong command of Dutch and are able to hold conversations in French.
